Brief Introduction

Living in Pakistan at a time when there is so much of bloodshed and terrorism. I paint of hope and life. The gorier the images get, the brighter I paint because I believe that the will to live and the dreams of a common person are much stronger than the forces of destruction.

My style of painting is contemporary and modern. It is a mixture of real world and fantasy. I paint blended images of flowers and birds with hidden human figures. My medium of painting is oil. I use bold and vibrant colour combinations. The average sizes of my paintings are 2ft by 3ft,2ft by 4ft, 3ft by 4ft and 4ft by 6ft. I have also done commissioned work, which is made keeping in mind the requirement of the place of installation. Such paintings are usually big in size and can cover a large featured wall. I am doing projects for houses that have incorporated walls, which can hang big sized paintings.

I mostly exhibit my work in Europe. I have exhibited at the prestigious art gallery “Galleria Agostiniana” in Rome, Italy. I was the only Pakistani artist to be selected amongst a group of 69 painters who exhibited their paintings at the Carrousel du Louvre “Louvre Museum” in Paris in 2014. I displayed my work in Florence, Italy in March 2015, where I was also awarded “The Sandro Botticelli Prize” for the original stylistic search, which took place at the Palazzo Guicciardini Bongianni. Recently I have been invited as a delegate to the conference “Art for Tomorrow” that is being held in Doha, in March 2015 presided by Sheikha Mayassa Bint Hamad Al Thani, sister of Amir of Qatar and organized by Sotheby's and New York Times. My name is included in the book “The Best Modern and Contemporary Artists 2014” written by famous Italian Art Critic Salvatore Russo. My work is also mentioned in the book “International Contemporary Artists” published from New York. This book is used as a reference book for young artists. My work has also been showcased in the Italian Art Magazine “Effetto Arte”.
